Rob Thurman is singlehandedly changing the literary world’s perspective on what a woman can write. The Cal Leandros novels are the edgiest, darkest, funniest, bloodiest and most flat-out MALE books in dark fantasy, all while managing to have a devastating amount of heart in them (the end of Roadkill just about brought a tear to my eye). And all of that, somehow, is written by a woman.

Actually I just finished The Demon in Me today and loved it. I’m really looking forward to Something Wicked. This is my first book by Michelle and was impressed. So she’s found a new fan in me.

Robin is totally my boyfriend, and has been since Book 1. Like, I’d get a Goodfellow tattoo if I could think of something to get. He’s my favorite fictional character period.
